Lisa was born and raised in the UK and trained at The London Studio Center, The Conservatoire de Paris (with Matt Mattox), Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey in New York. She now lives and works in Los Angeles after living for 5 and a half years in New York.

Lisa has performed the role of Velma Kelly in Chicago in many countries around the world including Japan, South Korea, Turkey, and Kuala Lumpur, and is regarded as an expert of the ‘Fosse style’. She has worked with and assisted many leading choreographers including Susan Stroman, Matthew Bourne, Gillian Lynne, Baayork Lee, Chet Walker, Mitch Sebastian, Al Blackstone, Lisa Stevens and Andrew Wright. She was the associate choreographer of Pippin at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London, and has been choreographer or assistant choreographer on shows such as 42nd St, Crazy For You, Cats, Carousel Peter Pan and Zombie Prom.
She has been a faculty member at University of California (Irvine), teaching jazz dance, and at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York for 6 years (teaching theatre dance on both the Jazz and Contemporary and Youth Ballet Programs as well as in their summer intensives in NYC, Miami and LA, and AMTA NYC.
In London, Lisa taught Matt Mattox, Jazz, Musical Theater and Tap for colleges such as Millennium Performing Arts, AMTA, London Studio Center, The MTA, GSA and Mountview for many years before moving to the U.S. Lisa teaches all levels and all ages of dance and movement. She was head of dance for the pre – AMTA part time school in London – working with actor/movers. She was also fundamental in helping AMTA move to NYC and set up their second school in 2017. She is the Founder, Creative Director and Producer for her production company LDR Creative, as is an award winning Producer.
